By installing, accessing, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App. Our Privacy Policy describes information handling and forms part of these Terms.

1. What the App provides

PDF Home Pro is a general-audience Android utility that may include:

Features can differ by version, device, Android version, region, permission state, file type, and service configuration. A tool may not support every document or preserve every source-file element.

2. Eligibility and responsibility

The App is not directed to children under 13. A person below the age of legal majority may use it only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

You may use the App only lawfully and with respect for the rights of others. You are responsible for the files you access, create, edit, convert, share, or delete and for obtaining any permission necessary to process them.

3. Limited license

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on compatible Android devices for lawful personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Unless applicable law expressly allows it, you may not sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, copy, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code, bypass security or advertising controls, interfere with operation, or use the App to create a competing service.

4. Your files and backups

You keep ownership of your documents. We do not claim ownership merely because a file is processed in the App. Core document operations are designed to occur on your device.

Editing, conversion, merge, split, lock, unlock, rename, deletion, and similar actions may modify or remove data. Before relying on an output, you are responsible for selecting the correct files, keeping independent backups, protecting and remembering passwords, checking page order and formatting, confirming signatures and output locations, and reviewing conversion quality. PDF Home Pro is not a cloud backup or document-recovery service, so it should not be the only place where an important file is kept.

5. Permissions and Android settings

In the current implementation, automatic device-wide discovery and management of supported documents requires All files access (android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). When granted, this permission lets the App build and refresh an on-device library across accessible shared-storage folders. The Storage Access Framework and Android file pickers separately provide access to a file or folder you explicitly select.

Other features may use image selection, installed-app information for the optional launcher, default-app settings, and Google Play services Document Scanner. The scanner supplies its own page-capture and image-import interface. Each capability supports the matching feature described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You may refuse or revoke a permission, although the related feature can become limited or unavailable. Without All files access, automatic device-wide discovery and related management are unavailable or reduced, while supported system selections or bundled samples may remain available. Android keeps the current Home app until you choose PDF Home Pro in system settings. You can continue using PDF Home Pro as a regular app and change the default Home app at any time.

6. Sharing and external services

When you share or open a file in another app, submit a Google web search, open a shortcut, follow an advertisement, visit Google Play, or otherwise use a third-party service, information needed for your request is transferred to that service. Its terms and privacy policy then apply. We do not control third-party apps, websites, search results, ads, products, availability, security, or data practices.

Review a document before sharing it and confirm that you are authorized to disclose any personal, confidential, copyrighted, regulated, or other protected content it contains.

7. Advertising

The App may show app-open, interstitial, and native advertising. Ads can be supplied through the SDKs and mediation adapters listed in the Privacy Policy. An adapter may be included in the released package even if the provider is not currently receiving traffic; requests depend on version, location, consent, and service configuration. Advertisements are not endorsements by us, and advertisers are responsible for their products, claims, destinations, and transactions.

Ad format, content, availability, frequency, and personalization may vary. A failed ad request should not intentionally prevent a core document action, but we do not promise that every ad or destination will be available, suitable, safe, or error-free.

8. Prohibited use

You must not use the App to:

9. Intellectual property

The App, Website, software, design, branding, and related materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer that ownership to you. Third-party names and marks, including Android, Google Play, Firebase, and AdMob, remain the property of their owners and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

10. Updates and availability

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features to improve the product, maintain compatibility, change providers, meet security or policy needs, or operate the service. Updates may be delivered through Google Play and may be required for continued use.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted App or Website availability, support for every device or file, error-free operation, or continued support for a particular format, Android version, advertising provider, or region.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the App and Website are supplied “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

PDF Home Pro is a general utility, not legal, financial, tax, compliance, archival, security, or other professional advice. You must independently verify important documents and results. Nothing here excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, passwords, profit, business, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the App, Website, advertising, or a third-party service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations, so part of this section may not apply to you.

13. Ending use or access

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. If PDF Home Pro is your selected Home app, Android may require you to choose another Home app before uninstalling it.

We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for unlawful use, abuse, fraud, security risk, policy breach, legal requirements, or service discontinuation. Provisions that should logically survive continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and applicable legal terms.

14. Governing rules and disputes

Applicable law governs these Terms without removing mandatory consumer protections in your country or region. A dispute will be handled by a court or authority with lawful jurisdiction unless applicable law requires another process.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the App, providers, business model, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at https://pdfhomepro.com/terms/ and the “Last updated” date will change. Additional notice will be provided before a material change where required. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent allowed by law.

16. Severability and complete agreement

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect, and the affected provision will be interpreted as closely as law permits to its intended purpose. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement concerning the App and Website, except for additional terms applied by a particular third-party service.
